What we don’t buy subtractions and minimums

What we don’t buy

We cannot accept items that contain refrigerants, asbestos, petroleum products, items that contain or have contained PCBs (including small capacitors, fluorescent light ballasts, and electrical transformers), airbags, paint cans, circuit boards, Barbed wire, steel wire, explosives, radioactive materials or non-metallic products such as tires, wood, dirt, yard debris, concrete or glass. We also cannot accept sealed containers, including propane tanks.

Subtraction

All items on the do not buy list will be loaded back onto the person’s vehicle or trailer; what cannot be put back on will be subtracted from the weight of the load example, water weight, dirt, trash, and oil; all subtractions will be done by the estimate weights of the staff. Refrigerators will be a $10 pre-unit disposal fee do to EPA regulations

Minimums

Prepared steel 500 Lbs will be needed to receive this price if not it will be bumped down to tin/shred price

Cast Iron will need 500 lbs if not will be bumped down tin/shred price

What paperwork do I need to be able to sell scrap metal 

you will be required to show a valid ID and be at least 18 years old

Can I recycle appliances?
Yes! We accept all types of appliances that contain metal, including water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, grills, and refrigerators (if the refrigerant has been evacuated)

Do I need to drain the fluids from my scrap before bringing it in?

Yes!! Please Drain all Fluids before bringing your scrap into Inland Enterprise. This includes but is not limited to All Oils, Water, Antifreeze, and Refrigerants.

This is to formally notify and caution all parties against the act of abandoning or depositing any material at or near the vicinity of the gate or on the premises of the scrap yard. Any such act shall be deemed as an abandonment, and we, in strict adherence to the statutory provisions stipulated under Washington state dumping laws as delineated in RCW 70A.205.195, shall exercise our right to dispose of said material accordingly. Violation of said statute may incur penalties and necessitate compliance with prescribed litter cleanup restitution payment. This notice serves as a legal warning and is intended to uphold the law and maintain the integrity of this property in accordance with applicable legislation.
